CheckTB! has expert consultancy know-how in designing healthcare projects eligible for financing through Dutch and international donor funds. Since 2005 16 project applications were submitted of which 15 have now been approved for partial financing by the Dutch Ministry of Cooperation or the Ministry of Economic Affairs with a total value of € 108 million.

Focus is on developing projects in cooperation with Ministries of Health, NTP's, WHO/Stop TB, KNVC TB Foundation and NGO’s in countries eligible for healthcare financing with the aim to improve TB control. These projects will be in the field of research, capacity building, services and medical solutions which can include prevalence surveys, microscopy, (mobile) labs, digital radiology, remote/centralized image reading through PACS. CheckTB! has experience with UN organizations, various donors, NGO's and public healthcare. CheckTB! staff is fluent in Dutch, English, Spanish, Portuguese and French and mobilises a global network of experienced professionals to set up projects institutionally and support local project implementation.

In cooperation with partners, CheckTB! develops innovative projects to support TB case detection in low and medium resource countries. A "Charge per CheckTB!" is available for NTPs who find the initial investment of digital radiology and the lack of radiologists too big an obstacle for rapid implementation in NTPs. Through this “value add leasing ” concept the NTP, Correctional Service or Occupational Health programmes obtain access to the benefits of digital radiology by being charged monthly per image or per image diagnosed by remote radiologists. This concept will become even more valuable with the introduction of CAD4TB, a Computer Aided Diagnosis tool for TB.
